If it’s a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, minimized pores, faded stretch marks, diminished scars, or tighter, lifted skin, you might want to give microneedling a chance. Dermapen microneedling is an innovative way to increase your body’s production of collagen.
It will activate the body’s natural ability to heal and repair itself, leaving skin healthy and rejuvenated. Dermapen’s fine needle technology is so advanced that it’s even safe for sensitive areas around the eyes, lips, and nose. If you want to flip on your skin’s healing switch, you should absolutely consider microneedling.
Injectables and Facial Care Services
This is the latest technology for skin rejuvenation involving regenerative medicine. This combination treatment uses Dermapen microneedling and your body’s own healing cells in Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). The Dermapen creates micro-channels into the skin to stimulate your immune response and help rebuild collagen and elastin. The PRP Facial strengthens and retextures skin, smooths fine lines, improves acne scars, greatly reduces pore size, and lightens hyperpigmentation.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS*
Treatments are relatively painless. To minimize discomfort, a topical anesthetic is applied 30 minutes before the procedure. This will render the treatments virtually pain-free.
Microneedling takes about an hour. Coupled with other treatments, it might take longer. Ask your medical provider how long you can expect treatment to take.
Microneedling requires preparation and will come with a day or so of downtime. Avoid the sun before and after treatment. Do not wear makeup to treatment, and don’t put it on for at least 24 hours after. You’ll need to avoid swimming, saunas, and exercise for at least 24 hours as well. You’ll look like you have a sunburn and your skin will feel warmer and tighter than normal directly after treatment. This will only last for a few hours. The aesthetician might apply hyaluronic acid and a healing moisturizer to your skin to soothe it directly after treatment. If you’re in doubt about what you can and can’t do after microneedling, be sure to ask your aesthetician.
You’ll see results soon after the first treatment, but we recommend that you come in for 4-6 treatments, spaced about a month apart. This will ensure that your skin continues to improve over time and maximize your results.
PRP is something you should consider combining with microneedling to enhance your skin’s healing factor. We offer a variety of facials to soothe skin and improve its texture and tone along with a microneedling regimen, as well. Many patients pair microneedling with fillers and injectables for a comprehensive approach to their skin’s texture and tone.
